That explains it!

All week I've been running late.
Waking the kids too late.
Not enough time in the mornings.
Getting ready to go, then coming out to the kitchen to see that I'm late!
Late to get Little Man down to naps.
Late to pick up the kids.
Late to games.

What in the world?  I'm usually a punctual kind of girl (barring any child-caused catastrophe, anyway).

I figured it out this morning.

Our formerly "set ahead" clock (it was 12 minutes fast) is now the REAL, ACTUAL, time.

AAARGH!

Of course it took me all week to realize this.

Finally this morning, I asked the Coach about it.  He said he was tired of using it as an excuse.  So he changed it.  (Should I mention that he's the one who wanted it "fast" to begin with?  15 years ago?)

In the meantime, I'm forgiving him for not mentioning it to me.   And adjusting to the fact that I've lost 12 minutes somewhere.

Happy Friday!

That is so funny!!! And why I always feel extra late in Eric's car. He keeps it set ahead too. Must be a hubby thing.

Scott did the same thing to my clock in the suburban, but it took me several ummm months to figure it out! Funny story! Have a great week-end!

My husband likes his watch and the clock in his car set 10 minutes fast as well. Not sure how this helps because I always subtract the minutes to find out what time it really is. I am sure that it will feel good to be on time again! :)

That has happened to us before too! Myles likes the time to be 5-ish minutes ahead, but sometimes Jonathan (9) changes it back because it annoys him that the time is wrong! Ha! He has been told to leave it alone, so we'll see if it happens again. I'm sure it will with the next kid in line. :) I'm just glad it's only 5 minutes and not 15! Wow, that must have been frustrating!

That is so funny! Barry does that and one time decided to change his clock without telling me or the kids. He messed us all up. Then he does it again when he was tired of actual time and AGAIN does not tell us...LOL Men...so funny!
