Nothing is ever simple. . .

Don't you wonder why?

I mean, theoretically speaking, I should be able to make a few recent address changes, sync my PDA with my computer, run a mail merge and have Christmas card envelopes printed in nothing flat.

But for some reason, I've already spent about 3 hours on it.

And that was before I realized that the list on my computer that I was making changes to was pre-2007 Christmas cards. What? And that none of my changes saved. Hmmmm?

I could have hand addressed them all by now. Good grief.

And the tree is up, although not decorated.

It does have lights.
(it's been six days since we started)

Then I tried to take some video of Little Man's incoherent babbling. But alas, when I turned the camera on he was silent. And he's never silent.

But life is good.

Even if it's not simple.

And it's a good thing that tomorrow is Thursday because OH BOY do I have a lot to be thankful for!

at this point I don't even know if we'll get a tree up! thanks for signing my blog; my 17 yo devours Ted Dekker too, but I have found that I don't like everything he's written (House, Skin). my personal favorite is Three. I have a book giveaway on my blog that I posted today, so check it out!

My, have you been through a lot since I stopped reading your blog! Seemes like we got home and hit Monday running and have not stopped since. Had a baby shower to attend, made a baby blanket, tried to put fall decorations away and start on winter...well, then there was laundry and school and groceries. So sorry to hear about all that yucky stuff... glad that you are on the other side now. I think rather than tackle the computer myself I will let my husband work on the Christmas letter and hand address! :) God bless you and give you His grace for today!

So glad you are feeling better! And bummer on the whole address list thing. I don't think anyone even has our new address so I need to get ours out pronto! Have a great Wednesday, friend!

I was looking at my address list this morning trying to edit it and couldn't save any changes. Maddening. And I'm with you, I always thought the stomach virus was the worst. I may have changed my mind. Hope ya'll are feeling better!
