Sometimes I wonder. . .

If I can clean up vomit one more time. . .

If I'll ever get all of the sheets, towels, pillows, blankets, sleeping bags and jammies washed. . .

If all of the kids will be back at school any time soon. . .

If I can possibly have things ready for the carpet cleaners today. . .

If I will actually get sick, too. . .

If I have any sympathy left for sick kids. . .

If our house will ever smell nice, again. . .
(it was doubtful BEFORE the stomach virus)

What in the world I should make for dinner. . .

If there is enough Lysol and bleach in the world. . .

If my hands will ever feel soft, again. . .

If I have enough big plastic bowls. . .

If I will actually get a shower today. . .

How long Little Man will have the runs. . .

Why I ever thought "normal" was hard. . .

~But one thing I DON'T wonder about:

God is the blessed controller of all things.

And I trust Him.

(In spite of the smell.)

Hey you need to go to the crock-pot blog on my site and see how she uses it to get odors out of the house.

We can always do another wednesday because I really don't want to get it. I mean REALLY don't want to get it. We don't have anything scheduled for the next few Wednesdays. Just let me know.

BTW you can't let anyone else enter because that lowers my chance of winning.

That's my girl! Trusting God in the midst of mass chaos and vomit. So sorry friend! You all really need to add a room on to your house that is just your sick room. It would need to be all stainless steel (walls and floor) have a drain in the middle of the floor and a big screen tv on the wall and lined with beds. How nice would that be? And practical! You could just hose everything down when everyone got better and keep the sick 'uns confined! Okay, so that's it for my brilliant ideas of the day. Good luck and I'll be praying for you!

sometimes I wonder...how you are wise beyond your years...
If you know how incredibly wonderful you are...
If you know how precious and dear your friendship is to me...
If you know how often you are thought of and prayed for...
If you realize how bright your light shines..
If you are thinking this is way over the top and gushy...

I just found your blog and LOVED reading your story!!! Your courtship is amazing... I am so glad you shared it. We have 5 children & I would love more. Have you shared the story of your large family on your blog? If not, would you consider sharing?
