Life with a two year old

This morning I got up early to walk on the treadmill, something I haven't been doing very faithfully, lately.

When I turned it on, it made an awful noise.

I unscrewed the panel on the bottom and removed the following:

1 bouncy ball
4 colored pencils
2 regular pencils
3 strings from sewing cards
15 pretzels

I had black up to my elbows from fishing it all out.  I had to sweep up the mess on the floor and reassemble the treadmill.  And I was thirty minutes late getting started.

But this is life with a two year old!

Thanks for reminding me I don't want a treadmill!! There's no telling what my almost-two-year-old would do to it...

I don't have a two year old and my couch contains about as many treasures! Proud of you for getting up early, in the summertime no less! Have a great day!

Good for you, getting up early and all! I do remember my stationary bike taking the brunt of children's curiosity. Will this car fit inside the fan wheel, or how about this block?... or how about the child who took a bite out of the cushioned handle. And there was always someone who was pulling out this thin thing that made all the numbers work while the wheel turned. When pulled out no one could tell how far they had gone or how fast they were pedaling. So far the treadmill has survived, but our youngest used to be thrilled to run things from the front to the back while I was walking on it. Sometimes a bit dangerous, but I always knew where he was! Happy exercising to you!

ROFL!!!! That is so funny! I'm just laughing because I can relate!!! Well, aside from getting up early to walk on the treadmill. :P I wish we had one again, but we wouldn't have the space for it!
